Other Ways to Find a Job
In today’s job market, you have to get creative when it comes to finding opportunities. This means doing more than searching the traditional job sites like Monster.com or CareerBuilder. Here are some helpful (yet unconventional) methods of finding jobs.
AWEA.org
The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is an excellent resource for everything you need to know about wind energy. But did you know they also have job listings? Find them here:
http://www.jobtarget.com/c/search_results.cfm?site_id=770
Craigslist
Did you know that Craigslist is for more than just buying and selling? Each local Craigslist site has a jobs section, where local companies can seek out talent. Check out your local Craigslist job postings and you may just find the job of your dreams!
Reddit.com is the self proclaimed “front page of the internet.” While that may or may not be true, they actually do have a board specific to wind turbines, and there are many job postings there. Check it out!
